The most interesting of the group. Composed of 14 stones. Diameter 14.6 m. The largest stone was 1.2 m long, but had fallen; and there was a possible "outlier" 14.5 m south-east of the centre. Work was carried out in 1948/9. They found the remains of a cairn in the SW quadrant, where 7 stones are closely grouped. A second, wrecked cist was found a short distance away. The 7 stones are somewhat out of alignment with the circle and may have been an original small cairn circle which was later expanded into a larger circle. The SE quadrant was even more rewarding: Urns, discs of jet, a jet button and fragments of bronze were found.
